heart healthy oatmeal w/ a flair

Serves 1
You'll need:
½ cup whole oats, 1 cup low fat milk, ¼ cup dried cranberries or dried cran-oranges, ¼ tsp vanilla extract, ½ tsp orange zest, ¼ tsp cinnamon
2 tsp honey, 1/8 cup walnuts (lightly chopped)
How to make: Bring milk to boil on stovetop. Add oats and stir. Add dried berries, vanilla and orange zest. Cover with a lid and remove from heat. Let it sit for 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and honey. Garnish side of dish with fresh orange slices. Enjoy.
