My 3 year old daughter, Chef Izabella, loves this hummus. She wrote the recipe with me and helped me make it!
You'll Need: 1/3 cup Tahini (stirred up before measuring), 15 oz can Italian white beans or cannellini beans (strained and rinsed), 2 garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 1/2 tsp fresh lemon zest, 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, Garnish: fresh chives, Malaysian curry or smoked paprika, lemon wedges
How to Prepare: Using a large food processor, add all the ingredients (except the garnish ingredients). Puree until smooth. Taste to see if you want to add anymore salt. Using a spatula, transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Add the garnishes as desired. Serve with pretzels, crackers, sliced up vegetables or more. We enjoy spreading hummus onto our hamburger buns and our sandwiches.
