Vineyard Adventure: Spice things up by visiting local wineries. Ask a vineyard employee if you can walk through the vineyards. In most cases, they'll say "yes". It's fun to eat a few grapes right off the vines. I like to imagine that I'm visiting a far-away vineyard in Italy as I journey through the local vineyards! Take a mini-get-away and visit a local winery near you!
Short Notice Party Food: Wine & Cheese parties are so fun! I've hosted a couple wine and cheese parties w/out a lot of advanced notice. I had my friends bring a bottle of their favorite wine and a block of their favorite cheese. I provided all the other appetizers and some additional wines... it was almost effortless. Great music, fun friends, and delicious food and wine.... life is good!
